Shaking of the High Places

WHO ARE THE TREMBLERS?
 (c) Suzin McNeill

Who are the tremblers of God?  They are the ones who dared to press-in and press toward Jesus.  Who are the tremblers of God?  They are the ones who stand in His presence and received council.  Who are the tremblers of God?  They are the ones who know the presence of The LORD.

Where will you stand when all the earth trembles for His holiness?  Answer- It is Him, in the power of Jesus we stand.

Psalm:  Serve The LORD with fear and rejoice with trembling.
The Lord reigneth;  let the people tremble:  He sitteth between the cherubims;  let the earth be moved.
The glory of the Lord shall endure for ever:  the Lord shall rejoice in his works.  He looketh on the earth, and it trembleth:  He toucheth the hills, and they smoke. Thou hast made the earth to tremble;  thou hast broken it:  heal the breaches thereof;  for it shaketh. Tremble, thou earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob;  which turned the rock into a standing water, the flint into a fountain of waters. My flesh trembleth for fear of thee;  and I am afraid of thy judgements.  I have done judgement and justice:  leave me not to mine oppressors. Be wise now therefore, O ye kings:  be instructed, ye judges of the earth.  Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling.
Serve The LORD with fear and rejoice with trembling.

 Daniel 6
Then King Darius wrote unto all people, nations, and languages, that dwell in all the earth. Peace be multiplied unto you. I make a decree, That in every dominion of my kingdom men tremble and fear before the God of Daniel: for He is the living God, and steadfast for ever, and His kingdom that which shall not be destroyed, and His dominion shall be even unto the end.

  Jeremiah 5
Fear ye not me? saith The LORD: will ye not tremble at My presence, which have placed the sand for the bound of the sea by a perpetual decree, that it cannot pass it: and though the waves thereof toss themselves, yet can they not prevail; though they roar, yet can they not pass over it? But this people hath a revolting and a rebellious heart; they are revolted and gone. Neither say they in their heart, Let us now fear The LORD our God, that giveth rain, both the former and the latter, in his season: He reserveth unto us the appointed weeks of the harvest. (out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks Your iniquities have turned away these things and your sins have withheld good things from you.

Can you take the truth? Have you asked for the truth concerning your service unto The LORD and others lately concerning your service unto Him. The truth can hurt.

THE TRUTH CAN REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, HURT, BUT; IT CAN MAKE YOU FREE

For among My people are found wicked men: they lay wait, as he that setteth snares; they set a trap, they catch men. As a cage is full of birds, so are their houses full of deceit: therefore they are become great, and waxen rich. They are waxen fat, they shine: yea, they overpass the deeds of the wicked: they judge not the cause of the fatherless, yet they prosper; and the of the needy do they not judge. Shall I not visit for these things? saith The LORD: shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this? A wonderful and horrible thing is committed in the land; The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means; and my people love to have it so: and what will ye do in the end thereof ? Fear ye not Me? saith The LORD: will ye not tremble at My presence...? Our God is holy.  You as God's people are called to holiness. How do we perfect holiness?

  II Cor. 7
Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. How do we perfect holiness? in the fear of God. What is given for the perfecting of the saints ?

  Ephesians 4
And He gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

How will the five - fold perfect or bring the saints to perfection?
Answer- by the demonstration of power through the gift of The Holy Spirit and the supernatural ability of our LORD JESUS CHRIST, Who lays bare the deeds of men and the secrets of the heart.
The Light (JESUS), and lights (the saints) of God, dispels the darkness, of  both the ways and hearts of men. We serve The Holy One from Teman. He is Spirit. He is supernatural. He is Holy, and His Light dispels the darkness, even within the deepest recesses of the heart.

  Habakkuk 3
God came from Teman, and the Holy One from mount Paran. Selah. His glory covered the heavens, and the earth was full of His praise. And His brightness was as the light; He had horns (bright beams) coming out of  His hand:and there was the hiding of  His power. Before Him went the pestilence, and burning coals went forth at His feet.

He stood, and measured the earth: He beheld, and drove asunder the nations; and the everlasting mountains were scattered, the perpetual hills did bow: His ways are everlasting. The mountains saw Him, and they trembled. Thou wentest forth for the salvation of Thy people, even for salvation with thine anointed; Thou woundest the head out of the house of the wicked by discovering the foundation unto the neck. Thou didst walk through the sea with Thine horses, through the heap of great waters. When I heard, my belly trembled; my lips quivered at the voice: rottenness entered into my bones, and I trembled in myself, that I might rest in the day of trouble: when He cometh up unto the people, He will invade them with His troops. And when the majesty of the greatness of our God is revealed unto each of  us we will tremble because of His holiness.

  Jeremiah 5
Fear ye not Me? saith The Lord: will ye not tremble at My presence?...

  Isaiah 32
Tremble, ye womenTremble, ye women at ease; be troubled, ye careless ones: strip you, and make you bare, and gird sackcloth upon your loins. Until the spirit be poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness be a fruitful field, and the fruitful field be counted for a forest. Then judgment shall dwell in the wilderness, and righteous remain in the fruitful field. And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and  assurance for ever.

Tremble ye women that are at ease. Put on your beautiful garments. Put on the holiness of your LORD, and He shall lighten thy countenance. Put on righteousness. Dress yourselves through stedfast obedience. Awake! Awake! Awake! Tremble ye women at ease. Tremble ye women, TREMBLE. NOW Let's look at a trembling woman.

  Mark 5
And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years, And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse, When she had heard of  Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched His garment.
But the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, came and fell down before Him, and told Him, all the truth. And He said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague.

  (Luke 8:47)

The woman with the issue of blood was healed with fearing and trembling. She was made whole. She was sent forth in peace, whole. Trembling in not the sign only for the weaker vessels of God? Those of Holiness Trimble under His Abiding presents

  Acts 9
And Saul, yet breathing out threatenings and slaughter against the disciples of the LORD, went unto the high priest, And desired of him letters to Damascus to the synagogues, that if he found any of this way, whether they were men or woman, he might bring them bound unto Jerusalem.
And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven: And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am JESUS whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks. And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do. Trembling, we open ourselves before God and ask the question; Lord, what wilt Thou have me to do?

In obedience, because of love we do whatever He asks. Remember the words of Jesus,
If you love Me, you will obey Me.Paul trembled. He walked in the Holy Spirit with power in fear and in much trembling.

  I Corinthians 2
And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom,
declaring unto you the testimony of God. For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling. And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing word's of  man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God. We are instructed even as servants.

  Ephesians 6
Servants, be obedientServants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ; not with eye-service, as men- pleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart; With good will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men: Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord, whether he be bond or free.

In singleness of heart we serve God because of Who HE Is... because HE first loved us, and shed HIS blood for each of us. HE is holy! Are there others who trembled at the mighty presence of our LORD?

  Job 37
At this also my heart trembleth, and is moved out of his place. Hear attentively the noise of His voice, and the sound that goeth out of  His mouth. He directeth it under the whole heaven, and His lightning unto the ends of the earth. After it a voice roareth: He thundereth with the voice of His excellency; and He will not stay  them when His voice is heard.

God thundereth marvellously with His voice; great things doeth He, which we cannot comprehend.
When Daniel saw a certain man clothed in linen and heard the voice of his words like the voice of a multitude he trembled. What makes these holy saints tremble? Could it be that they are all in a place that frightens them, because they have ventured to another spiritual level, in God?

 Isaiah 28
It is written: For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people. Within the WORD, within the heart, we have a view of some of the saints of God having stammering lips, and trembling bodies. Is this a sign of the strong ones, or is it a sign of  the only Holy God?

  Daniel 10
And he said unto me, O Daniel, a man greatly beloved, understand the words that I speak unto thee, and stand upright: for unto thee am I now sent. And when he had spoken this word unto me, I stood trembling. Then said he unto me, Fear not Daniel; for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words. Now I am come to make thee understand what shall befall thy people in the latter days: for yet the vision is for many days.

It was not in the lion's den. It was not in the king's court interpreting Nebuchadnezzar's dreams. It was not in the fiery furnace, nor in the handwriting on the wall, nor in the visions seen by Daniel, but there was a special thing that Daniel did that brought to him God's presence. It was from  the first day that Daniel set his heart to understand, and to chasten himself  before  God, because of  his love for God.  Daniel's determination to know God, and to understand God's will for his life, and his intercession for the people brought God's presence.Does repentance bring changes?  Does the "set heart" to seek God change things?  Does prayer really change things?

The answer is, Yes! Yes, LORD!  And the answer to all who are "set" to walk in God is Yes, LORD!  I will do whatsoever You ask of me. I will do Your will, even in the courts of kings, even when others revile me, even when their hatred pricks and wounds my heart, even when your will is inconvenient, even when I know the people will be stirred against me, I will do Your will, O Lord. And, if you can hear the voice of these words, and still consider "doing your own thing"  in  your life, and not seeking the will of God then, you will miss the divine fellowship, and beautiful holiness of  knowing The LORD. (and you may even  be lukewarm)

  Psalm 2
Be wise now therefore, be instructed, Serve The Lord with fear and rejoice with trembling.

Will you chasten? Will you repentWill you chasten? Will you repent of being "self " lead? Will you set your heart to understand and hear what The Holy Spirit speaks to you? Will you set yourself to chasten yourself before God? Will you tremble and submit, asking Him what will You have me to do? And then, DO IT! Will you follow the paths of the tremblers? Tremblers commit all to press toward the mark of the high calling which is in Christ Jesus. Let us welcome the chastening of The Holy Spirit into the temple of our hearts. Call unto the The LORD for His fiery purging within your heart. The flames of God are burning the dross from the heart vessels of those who are setting their hearts in this moment. It is these "set, golden vessels" that will walk with God, and do His will from their hearts. Tremble ye ~ for The LORD shouts, Arise in His glory. Tremble ye for with His glory comes His judgments.
Shall The LORD our GOD be avenged on such a nation as this? It is built up with high prideful walls, where men and their money sweep the halls of conviction and offence for their rewards of the ungodly lusts of mammon. It is not just a case of pride, it is a case as old as luicifier. It is vile.  It is self arrogances, independence, pride, power, promises, to the inner circles of judicial agreements.
You as God's people are called to holiness. Will you tremble and submit?
"FATHER, have mercy upon us, in the power name, JESUS.
As we tremble before You cover us with Thy mercy.  As we cry unto You
Hear us speedily in Jesus name."
 amen.

Beauty for Ashes, Is Holiness!

Divine Lordship is not a threat; rather it’s the place of greatest safety.
